Tournament Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility and Registration
- Division Accuracy: Players must register for brackets matching their verified DUPR rating or official skill profile.
- Bracket Management: NPC reserves the right to combine, split, or cancel brackets based on registration volumes.
- Payment Deadline: Spots are only secured once full registration payment is processed by the event deadline.
2. Equipment and Gameplay
- Governing Rules: All matches follow current international pickleball rules unless explicitly stated otherwise by NPC.
- Paddle Compliance: Only Pickleball approved paddles are permitted for competitive match play.
- Official Ball: The designated tournament ball model will be provided by NPC and cannot be substituted.
3. Attendance and Forfeits
- Check-In Policy: Players must check in at the NPC tournament desk 30 minutes before their scheduled start time.
- Grace Period: Missing a match call by more than 10 minutes results in an immediate bracket forfeit.
- Warm-Up Limit: On-court pre-match warm-ups are strictly restricted to a maximum of 5 minutes.
4. Code of Conduct
- Zero Tolerance: Profanity, verbal abuse, taunting, and paddle throwing will result in immediate disqualification.
- Director Authority: The NPC Tournament Director retains final, unappealable authority over all disciplinary decisions.
- Guest Liability: Players are legally and behaviorally responsible for the actions of their personal guests and spectators.
5. Legal Waivers and Media
- Liability Release: Participants release NPC, its staff, and facility partners from injury or property claims.
- Medical Emergency: NPC staff are authorized to request emergency medical services at the participant's expense.
- Media Consent: NPC retains the right to use event photography and video footage for promotional marketing.
6. Weather and Refunds
- Inclement Weather: The tournament director will dictate schedule adjustments, delays, or venue changes due to rain.
- Refund Policy: Registration fees are non-refundable after the official registration close date under any circumstances.
